Twitter responses: Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja put India in a commanding position on Day 1 of Kanpur Test



Opener Shubman Gill, debutant Shreyas Iyer and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja all shined with the bat as India looked strong with 258/4 on Day 1 of the continuous very first Test versus New Zealand at Green Park in Kanpur.

Iyer and Jadeja both scored half-centuries to put India ahead of Black Caps in the last session after the visitors got back to back wickets right before the tea break.
